Special opportunities exist in BSA for awards. Some awards are integrated into Rank Requirements, such as the Cyber Chip for Scout Rank. Most awards are independent recognition of achievement. Here is the list of BSA Awards:
Troop 20 also awards scouts for various achievements. For example, the Scoutmaster's Award is presented annually to the Troop 20 scout who demonstrates exceptional character and skills.
